Melissa and Doug Puppet Theater Review and Giveaway

When Melissa and Doug asked me which product I'd like to review it took me forever to decide.  Melissa and Doug is known for the quality of their products and how their products foster imagination in our children.  After browsing their website for what seemed like forever I asked if I could review their Deluxe Puppet Theater and some puppets. 

My husband put the theater together in no time.  It only took about 20 minutes for him to put it together and clean up the box and instructions.  The dimensions of the theater are 52" x 18" x 24.75" when it's fully assembled.  It's the perfect size for your little ones.  I have a 1 year old, a 4 year old and a big 6 year old.  All three of my girls love the theater.  Although, it is recommended for ages 3 and up I have let my 1 year old play with it while I am with her.  She loves to push the theater around our living room and I'm not sure why. 

We were also sent 3 puppets with the theater, because what's a puppet theater without puppets?   We were sent Princess Catherine Castlehoff, Smoulder the Dragon and  Barnacle Bart!   There are endless stories that my girls think up with this combination of puppets.  Melissa and Doug has lots of hand puppets to choose from and one is a Make Your Own Monster Puppet! 

 Drama and Diva love to put on shows for all of us. FB loves to watch the shows and sometimes she tries to join in by pretending to be a destructive giant in the kingdom!  Seriously, Drama is a TV junkie and I am not exaggerating.  She asks as soon as she wakes up if she can watch a show and it continues throughout the day until bedtime.  I give in sometimes but I'm not a fan of the TV for my girls.  Don't get me wrong, I'll put on cartoons so I can get some things done around the house but I would rather they use their imaginations. 

Since we've had the theater and puppets I have heard Drama ask much less if she can watch a show and I've seen much more shows (of the puppet variety) myself.
