Charlie Banana Diaper Review and Giveaway

I was given a fabulous opportunity to review a line of cloth diapers that I had never heard of before.  Charlie Banana Diapers are completely new to me.  When I received the diaper I was blown away over the cuteness of this Fashionable Diaper.  I was sent The Kate from their Fashion Line.  I am in love!  As I was looking into the company, because I like to know where my products come from I not only fell in love with the product but where it comes from too.

Charlie Banana's Philosophy:

"Our Philosophy
Charlie Banana® was created out of a love for eco-friendliness, quality, and design. We wanted to design products that anyone would feel confident using on themselves and on their babies, and that they would recommend to their friends. We wanted products that make you feel good on so many different levels.

We live in a world full of chemicals, full of cheap items that do not deliver what they promise. There is a global lack of eco-friendly modern design, and such a waste of resources. Many of us do not realize the full extent of the chemicals we apply on ourselves and on our children - from food, cosmetics, clothing, personal hygiene and cleaning products we use. We wanted to make something truly unique and to promote items that are basic but so much better for the health of the whole family, for our world, and for everyone's wallet.

As the future of the world is in our hands, we actively promote reusing wherever you can. Changing habits one at a time. Individual efforts make a huge difference.

If we can make people more aware of their daily waste, and encourage them to change their habits, this will be a great achievement. This is something to be proud of and to embrace.

Charlie Banana® is an eco-friendly brand, we feel this is something important. Every single entrepreneur should try manufacturing greener products. We design and manufacture everything with reducing waste in mind.

After years of research, development, and testing, we are very confident in and proud of our range of products. We know you will be impressed too. We have carefully selected every fabric, and we use Oeko-Tex suppliers wherever possible. Our true goal is to convince 50% of mothers to use reusable diapers and products for their children and we will."

I know this is a big blurb from their website but it is all so important that I couldn't leave any of it out.  Normally I just pull a little from a companies site but I really wanted my readers to read all of this.

The diaper that I received is wonderful and it's again, so cute!  The cuteness however is not why we buy cloth diapers though is it?  However, it does help to feed our addictions.  I love that The Kate came with 2 inserts.  I love having the choice of being able to add the extra insert especially at night.  Then again if there is a pair of pants that I want to put on my FB and they are a little on the snug side I don't want that extra insert.

My favorite part of, not literally a part of, is that this diaper is available at Target!  If you are considering cloth diapering the options and websites can be overwhelming.  I wasn't able to actually have a diaper in hand before purchasing it when I started using cloth.  Now you can!  I happened to walk by the wrack holding these adorable diapers and that's how I was introduced to Charlie Banana.

I haven't had any leaks using Charlie Banana diapers and again, they are super cute!  I love that I can pick them up at my local Target or shop the entire collection online.  Another feature of this beautiful diaper is that it is one size.  I can purchase it for my newborn or my 18 month old (not that I have either of those) but I have always preferred one size diapers.  I don't want to buy anymore than I have to.

Charlie Banana also offered Disposable Inserts.  I haven't chosen to go that route but if dealing with poop gives you the heebie jeebies then you might want to choose to add them to your daily routine.  A lot of parents are grossed out by having to wash the poop off the diaper in the toilet, this will help eliminate that daunting task.

You can also purchase Charlie Banana products on www.Amazon.com, www.Diapers.com and www.Babiesrus.com.  I recommend Charlie Banana Diapers and have the luxury of bringing you a chance to win one!   I spotted the below Red Petit Coeur on hot pink diaper in their Fashion Collection and have really fallen in love!  My husband my take away my credit cards very soon!

Those are really nice. I wish I would have used cloth diapers with my kids. I bet they would have been a lot more comfortable too.

These tend to run bigger than othes so if you're not ready to move up to the next size they help. I've had a few leakage issues though but that wouldn't deter me from giving this five stars. They move well too, when they get wet they don't become overly bulky.
