Painted Earth Skin Care Review and Giveaway

When I found out I was getting some items from Painted Earth to review I got excited.  When I received the items from Painted Earth Skin Care I did a little bit of a dance.  This is high quality stuff and I knew it as soon as I had the items in my hands.  With some things, you know right away if they are quality and others you just have to eventually find out that they aren't.  Painted Earth Skin Care is amazing!  I've been using the skin care line from Painted Earth for about 3 weeks.  My skin feels amazing.  It looks amazing also - scratch that, I look and feel amazing!  First things first, I checked out the face wash.  Painted Earth sent me the Acne/Sensitive Face Wash and it has done a marvelous job at keeping my skin calm.  It is a sulfate free, sugar based aloe vera cleanser loaded with botanical ingredients.

I also had the privilege of receiving the Blueberry Cranberry Oxygen Scrub.  Yum, this smells amazing and my face feels so soft after I've used this.  The all natural scrub is infused with, yep -  you guessed it, blueberries and cranberries.  It exfoliates and returns skin back to a radiant state.  Yes, yes it does, thank you!  Next I get to move on to the PaintedTherapeutics Optimum 18% Vitamin C Serum.  When I say I get to that's just what I mean...I GET to.  This serum makes my skin feel, goodness, how do I describe it?  It feels younger from the inside out.  The tone of my skin is so even when I use this serum and my skin is brighter.  I don't think they could put a price tag on this serum that would be high enough to stop me from buying it in the future.  This serum repairs skin with a remarkable new Vitamin C technology that delivers 50 times the free radical neutralizing power of prior generations.

I use the Vitamin C Eye Gel next, by adding the smallest (not even a pea size) amount to my ring finger tip and rubbing it all around both of my eyes.  A dab will go a long way with this gel.  I could feel this gel working the first time I used it like crazy.  I think I've gotten used to the feeling now but I'm telling you it was so strong the first time I used it and it felt awesome!  This gel is formulated to combat puffiness, sagging skin, stubborn dark eye circles, wrinkles and crow's feet.  I am only 32 years young and don't suffer from my skin being too bad but I do have young kids.  That means lots of nights that I get less than 6 hours of sleep and you know this takes a toll on my skin.  The Vitamin C Eye Gel fights back for me, I love it!
The Boo Boo Gel is on the left and on the
right is the Blueberry Cranberry Oxygen Scrub

-That's when I use the Moisture Treatment for Sensitive/Acne Skin.  My face is then soft and feeling quenched.  It doesn't feel greasy at all.  This treatment helps to clear up breakouts associated with acne prone skin and it does it without the harsh chemicals that are in other, similar products.  I love it when I don't have to use chemicals on my skin, I know you've heard me say this a time or two in the past.  Let me discuss the Boo-Boo Gel now.  I don't use this on my face during the day since it dries and I think would affect the way my make up would sit on on my face.  However, I do use it at night.  It's a natural anti-inflammatory and will soothe, heal, and nourish skin.  It's great to use on minor cuts, scraps and burns.  I have used this for everything.  Even my girls will ask for the Boo-Boo Gel when they get a little scrape or something.  They just told Mr. Messy last night who got a slight cut on his finger to use it.
Painted Earth Skin Care doesn't just carry skin care, they also carry an amazing line of natural cosmetics too!  Who doesn't like to use a primer first?  The 2 primers that I was sent are wonderful.  I really just want to keep writing amazing, how many times can someone use the word amazing in one story, right?  I promise I'll try to stop.  I tried the Camera Ready Primer that I really would love to just rub all over my entire body.  I feel it perfecting my face as I rub it on.  The other primer I got to try was the HD Powder Primer.  It fills in the lines and pores for a more even surface to apply make up.  I was not big on primers before but after the last few weeks of using these I don't think I'll go without it in the future.
My bare skin - not a beautiful as FB's skin but not too bad if I do say so!
I usually move on to the HD Concealer at this point.  What I love most about this concealer is that it's great under and over the Foundation Stix with SPF 18.  They blend so well and leave my skin looking so smooth and fresh.  I also received the Perfect Every Thyme Baked Mineral Foundation.  The color I chose was a little dark for my winter color, although it will be perfect after a few weeks of some sunshine.  I used it as a bronzer, not its original intention but it worked beautifully!  It gave me a gorgeous sun-kissed glow.  The brush that I used to apply it is the softest brush I have ever used EVER!  If you need a brush for applying mineral make up you should pick up the Artist Choice Studio Brush.

I cannot go without blush!  I use blush for my cheeks and if I'm in a real hurry I swipe my blush brush over my eyelids for a hint of color there too.  I chose the Baked Blush in Petal.  It is the softest of pinks and I felt it would compliment my fair skin.  I was lucky enough to get to try the Baked Mineral Eye Fusion in Bronze Fusion and Lavender Fusion.  Both were wonderful natural tones for my skin.  The Eye Fusions made my eyes pop.  I love the way I look while wearing them.  I added the SuperWear Gel Liner to define my eyes.  I want to explain to you how well this liner glides on.  I have the awful habit of pulling my eyes taut in order to make the liner apply better.  However, I don't have to do that with this liner but it's not like a liquid liner that can be messy.  It's perfect, just perfect.  I have never used a liner like this and may have just formed an addiction to it.   I finish off my eye look with LashLuxe Mascara.  I was a little nervous about it after seeing the applicator brush, but don't let it fool you.  It applies very well and makes my lashes thicker and longer.

Studio Brush, Perfect Every Thyme Baked Mineral Foundation and
Silk Radiance Mineral High Light Powder
Oh! I can't forget to tell you about the Baked Finishing Powder that gives your face a soft glow of radiance.  I really like the Baked Finishing Powder but I LOVE the Silk Radiance Mineral High Light Powder.  I won't leave without this on my forehead, my brow bone, my cheek bones and pretty much wherever else I feel like putting it!  It rocks!

Now to finish off my look with my lips.  You can make or break a look with lips!  Too much color and you're trying too hard but not enough and you might wash out your face.  Most importantly, you have to make sure your lips aren't drying out and cracking.  Take care of them and they will take care of you. I laid the foundation by using the Vibrant C Lip Treatment SPF 15 for its intense hydration.  I had my choice of Transforming Lipstick in Iced Violet or Whisper Rose.  Both are exceptional colors and were the perfect amount of color for my look.  I was able to finish off with an amazing gloss - Lips: Baby Hint of Mint.  These glosses would saturate my lips with mint and wake me up!  Seriously, if you need a pick me up to get you through the day, apply some of this gloss.  The only bad part about them is they are small and not your average size of lip gloss.  The good part is that you can buy more and have a wider variety to choose from during your day.  Feeling a little bold?  Go with the Cherry, or if you are feeling a bit like a flirt go with my favorite, Victorian Charm.

Whichever way you choose you can't go wrong with Painted Earth Skin Care.  The skin care line is amazing and natural. Who doesn't like natural?  The cosmetics will look natural but you can also use bold colors to stand out a bit if you are feeling a little festive.  I am so glad that I found Painted Earth Skin Care!  I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed using these products.  Please visit Painted Earth Skin Care and browse to see what might fit into your routine best.  I promise you will not be disappointed.

You can win some of my favorites now!  Must be a resident of the U.S. and 18+

The Blueberry Cranberry Scrub sounds fantastic. I recently moved from a very humid climate to the desert, and my skin is having a hard time adjusting. I think this scrub would help.

The Blueberry Cranberry Scrub sounds fantastic. But the scrubs should not be used daily as it may harm the skin by making skin dry.
