Blogiversary Event

Happy Blogiversary to Confessions of a Messy Mama!  Oh, that's me - Woo Hoo!  Over the past year I have learned so much.  I am excited to have I have met so many amazing people over this year, that I wouldn't have met without starting my blog.

If you read my very first post you will know that I am a somewhat shy individual when it comes to being in the public eye.  I can take a small group of people that I know and have a blast, but put me in a large group of people I've never met before and I probably won't open my mouth.  I was scared and didn't know what I was doing but I took a leap of faith and was welcomed by the warm wonderful readers that have been following my post.  I want to say first of all, THANK YOU, to each and every one of you that read my post.  I wouldn't have had the success that I have had over the last year if it wasn't for you.  I considered my blog a huge success when I reached 1,000 followers on Facebook.  I never imagined being at almost 10,000 Facebook Likes, much less doing that within a year!

Lässig has so many diaper bags that are stylish!  I strongly suggest that you take the time to look at Lässig and find the right bag for your style.  Especially if you have been unsuccessful in the past and combining your style with your baby.  It's really hard to be a fashionable woman while still being a great mom, Lässig makes it a little easier for us.  I was able to review the  Brief Snake bag in Beige and carry it all the time!  My friends without children have made comments about borrowing it.   Winner will receive the Lassig Glam Banana Diaper Bag (rv $119).

Bobee Diaper and Wipes Dispenser is a must have for any parent of an infant.  The Messy House was lucky enough to get the diaper stacker to review.  You know that this messy place needs all the help as it can get with clutter.  It did an amazing job and helps me to stay organized, at least in the changing station.  If only the Bobee made something to get the rest of my life organized!   The winner will receive the below pre-deigned Bobee and wall decals (rv $48)!  The decals are removable, so if you aren't thrilled about this particular design, then you can make your own!  

Glow Bug Cloth Diaper will be giving the winner their choice of boy, girl or neutral print diaper!  I was able to review two Glow Bug Cloth Diapers.  One from the 2012 line and one from the 2013 line. I've never had a leak using these diapers and they are so cute.  My favorite feature of this particular diaper is the double Gussets!  I love how affordable they are also, you purchase the system, not the individual diaper.  One system comes with 12 one-size pocket diapers with snaps in a free wet bag and 18 absorbent snap-in inserts.  They are made with NEW SlimDry™ fabric fro the trimmest fit.

Simple Addiction is a an online store that has a variety of boutique items offered at discounted prices.  "Who said you couldn’t save money while spending money?" is Simple Addiction's view.   All items are 50 - 80% off retail prices.  Simple Addiction offers the items for 36 hours to keep their inventory fresh.   I loved the products that I received and all the products that I see on there.  There are different products everyday!  Simple Addiction is giving the winner a $50 gift certificate to pick out what ever they want! 

Wittlebee sent a box for my 4 year old and me to review.  If you don’t know what Wittlebee is, it’s a monthly service that delivers clothing for your children from birth to 6 years old.  The box was sent out to my door within a couple of days.  I was shocked at how quickly it arrived.   If you visit Wittlebee's website it states that you will receive over $100 worth of retail in every box.  The service is $39.99 a month.  There are lots of different monthly subscription boxes out there.  You can choose from baby products to pet products and everything in between.  What busy mama doesn't need this service?  Wittlebee is giving the winner one box, winner's choice of gender and size!

Burp'n Baby sent me one of the softest baby blankets I have ever touched to review.  Not only was it soft but it was super cute too.  I like that Burp’nBaby is committed to maintaining its Made in the USA status.   Burp'nBaby doesn't just offer blankets.  They have a variety of soft baby gifts.  They are giving the winner the blanket below (rv $45), it's so cute and with perfect colors for summer.

Smoobee Magic No Cry Brush is giving the lucky winner a Smoobe Magic No Cry Brush (rv $24.95)!  The first thing I did when I received the brush to review was inspect it myself, looking for some magic pixie dust sprinkled on it or something.  Smoobee is a dual hairbrush, it's a natural bristle brush and a cushioned pad hairbrush in one.   It is very well made and you can tell that the makers of Smoobee take pride in their work, but I still didn't see any magic dust.  Smoobee worked like a charm with both my older girls, there is no fighting in the morning to brush hair anymore!

Sage Spoonfuls sent me a copy of the award-winning book Sage Spoonfuls-Simple Recipes, Healthy Meals, Happy Babies, written by Liza Huber to review.  I completely expect a regular good old fashioned recipe book.  You know, with a bunch of measured out recipes.  This isn't some regular recipe book.  This is like the encyclopedia of baby food.  Sage Spoonfuls is giving the winner a Let's Get Started Package ($99)!  I am super jealous over this one!  I do love my Simple Recipes, Healthy Meals, Happy Babies but this is a great package that the winner is getting!

When Melissa & Doug asked me which product I'd like to review it took me forever to decide.  Melissa and Doug is known for the quality of their products and how their products foster imagination in our children.  I chose the Deluxe Puppet Theater to review and three hand puppets!  My girls play with this almost every single day!  They have received other Melissa & Doug toys as gifts and enjoy each one of them immensely.   Melissa & Doug is giving the winner $50 in toys of the winner's choice!  

The Mixie Bottle is another must have for any parent of an infant who takes a bottle.  I wish I would have received this much sooner, I reviewed the Mixie Bottle just before FB's first birthday.  Basically you have a bottle with an inner compartment. Inside this compartment you put your formula. You put the entire bottle together, fill with water and you have yourself a bottle ready to go. All you have to do is push a button and viola - the formula mixes with the water, and you have a ready to feed bottle.  The winner will receive one 4 oz Mixie Bottle (rv $18.95).

aden + anais® is providing the winner with mum + bub™ hair and body wash and ultra-gentle lotion ($31.90).   The bottle states:  "Tested on Raegan, her girls and the growing aden + anais® family. Not tested on animals."  This statement provides me with the security that the makers of this product believe in it enough to use it their family.  I definitely recommend the mum + bub™ skin care line by aden + anais® .  I love the fact that it's made for the whole family, well who am I kidding, Mr. Messy would never use it.  I like that I can take a shower with my baby and not have to use a bunch of different products.
