I have been seeing the buzz about Coconut oil for a while now and I finally decided to jump on that train. Boy am I glad I did. I received Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil from Tropical Traditions to try out. I’ve been told that I could replace vegetable oil with coconut oil in just about anything. So, why not give it a shot in a cake that I’m going to be making right?
If you order by clicking on any of my links and have never ordered from Tropical Traditions in the past, you will receive a free book on Virgin Coconut Oil, and I will receive a discount coupon for referring you
Although, Tropical Traditions has a library of recipes for Coconut Oil for you to try. I thought I would start off small and try it on something I am familiar with. All I did was replace the vegetable oil with coconut oil. The aroma from chocolate cake and the coconut oil filled my house and it smelled amazing! I didn’t taste a difference in flavor but I did notice that the cake was more moist than my cakes usually are.
It looks clear above because it turns to liquid at 76 degrees and this is a time that I was refusing to turn on my air. I have only used it, my air that is, for about 48 hours this year. It's okay because now it's back to a solid. It just made measuring out what I needed easier. I am changing my cooking habits and adding coconut oil from now on when a recipe calls for oil. You can try it out too. Just enter the RC form below! Must be a resident of the U.S.A. and 18+ to win! Good Luck!
