Upere Aster Wedge Sneaker Review

Recently Upere contacted me to see if I would be interested in reviewing a pair of the Wedge Sneakers.  I hadn’t heard of this style of shoe before but the pictures on their website seem fabulous enough.  So, why not? 

 I chose the Upere Aster Wedge Sneakers Suede Leather Navy Blue.    I personally love how they feel on my feet.  They are very comfortable but I kind of feel like I might be too old or not hip enough for them.  They are very fashionable but honestly I don’t feel like they are for me.  Now, my teenage niece would absolutely LOVE these sneakers and I’d be willing to bet she’d babysit for me for six months to have these. 

I honestly don’t think I’m too old, I just feel like these sneakers are very fashion forward and deserve a little respect.  You have to wear the right outfit with them.  I think if you are looking for fashion forward you should start here.  I have spoken with a few coworkers (younger and no kids) who adore these sneakers.

I think my problem is that I have gotten lazy with my clothes and I’m more worried about comfort than about style.  It happens when you have young kids.  Now, these sneakers fit right in for the comfort but as I said before, you have to wear the right outfit with them.
