100 Strangers and You

Hi friends, it's Messy Mama Amy and it's been a while since I shared my first 100 day challenge with you.  Now I ask you to join in with my newest 100 challenge.  I am challenging myself and you to pray for a stranger every single day.  Someone that you didn't know before this day.

You won't know their needs or situation but pray for them.  Pray that God knows their needs and moves on their situation.  This may be a coworker you meet for the first time.  Maybe a stranger you drive by on the street or in a passing car.  It may be someone at your church that you have never spoken to or someone you see on T.V.  You know just because they are on T.V. doesn't mean they don't need prayer.

This will not be in place of any other prayers you do on a regular basis.  If you and I pray for 1 stranger a day over the next 100 days that will be 200 people that have been prayed for that may or may not have been prayed for otherwise.

Feel free to share with you friends and family and let me know if you are going to participate by commenting below.  If you are sick in bed you can still pray.  You don't need to actually leave your house to pray for anyone.

Just think about the amount of people that will get prayers if 100 people sign up for this challenge.  Who knows, you may even be the stranger that someone prays for today.  If you miss a day it's okay, this is not a competition nor is it going to be graded.  You won't get a pat on the back from me if you do all 100 days but you will have made a big difference in this world.

Good Luck!

I'm not much for prayer, but I can certainly spare some positive thoughts. Thanks for sharing your challenge.

Sadly I don't pray on a regular basis, I'll admit that due to loss I've had my share of days where I've second guessed my beliefs. I will take this challenge-not just to help a stranger (I think this is a wonderful idea), but I have a feeling this will somehow help me too. I'm not sure how, it's just a feeling. Count me in. ~Raine~
