I help with my nieces,nephews and other family members with their babies so this would be very helpful.
As a parent of 8 kids, I know that the evenings in the beginning when your infant still needs a excess of attention. It always good to have a high quality item such as this on hand.

with our youngest daughter i was a real help because I am a very heavy sleeper
My baby has tracheomalacia, and this causes him to cry to get enough oxygen. He will evetually grow out of this but without a monitor sometime I would not have heard him if I was outside doing chores.
