It's a lightweight umbrella stroller but not just some little, nothing-to-it umbrella stroller! It has so many bells and whistles I'm not even sure that I've found them all yet.
First thing I have to say that I notice was there really was no assembly. Yes, I had to pop on the wheels, umbrella and cup holder, but that was it! No tools needed. Who doesn't love that? The second thing I noticed was the color and chicness. Is chicness a word? It's so modern and it goes with everything! The earthy tones are so nice.
Let's head to Baby Cargo's website and see what they have to say about the 200 Series:
"Understated
Putting baby’s comfort first, Baby Cargo’s 200 Series Stroller is inspired by the durability and versatility of modern home furnishings. With subtly natural tone-on-tone colors, cottony-soft seat and sides, a multi-position backrest, and a water-resistant hood, the 200 brings baby home in style.Ultra-lightweight black matte aluminum frame—sleek and rust free
- Soft sophisticated textiles, easy to clean
- Tailored designed back pocket with heavy zippers and a decorative brass Baby Cargo name plate, chic and practical for moms
- Super compact, easy to fold, perfect for vacations or trips to the shopping mall
- A multi-position adjustable backrest and adjustable leg rest"

I am 5 foot tall even and my husband is over 6 feet tall. An average umbrella stroller is short even for me, so it's way too short for my husband, who has to bend over just to push it. The 200 Series is very comfortable for the parent to push. FB and Diva, who are both under the weight limit of 50 lbs, love to stroll around in it. Diva will be 5 years old in May. She's got at least 10 lbs before reaching the weight limit of this stroller.
| Back off ladies, he's married. |
The Baby Cargo Stroller (200 Series) is made for cargo. Not just your precious cargo (I mean baby if you didn't get that) but there is a netted basket at the bottom of the stroller (with 2 pockets in the netted basket) and a heavy duty back pocket that is big enough to carry a small clutch or a large wallet. It has beautiful brass snaps to keep it closed for you also.
The stroller folds easily with using only 1 hand. I've had to do this several times while holding FB. It's has a comfortable handle on the side when it's folded up to carry or a shoulder strap. The seat reclines seamlessly with an adjustable strap. It also has an adjustable leg rest. So that when your little one is sleeping the legs have more room.
The rain guard was a life saver when we took FB out on Halloween. It was just drizzling but no one wants an infant getting rained on when it's so cold and windy out. I don't just use the rain guard, which is I can put on or take off in a snap, only when it's raining. I put it on when it's windy out too, it's helps to keep some of the wind off of her.
| In case you can't tell, this is Diva pushing her face against the rain guard. |
Have I said how much I love the Baby Cargo 200 Series? It is absolutely one of my favorite baby items. Just behind the Georgi Bag! Seriously, my favorite diaper bag EVER and it's specifically made for the Baby Cargo Stroller! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bag.
I can't tell you how many bags I have bought in my 6 years of motherhood trying to find the right fit. I really wanted a messenger bag that was big enough to be a diaper bag. I have not been able to find one. Well not until now. The straps on the Georgi bags have a large adjustment range. I can use it as a tote or a messenger bag. Mine is a very beautiful earthy tone that's neutral and my husband has no problem carrying it because it's not "girlie". Although the blue Georgi Bag shown below isn't "girlie," it is a beautiful color and would go with so much in my wardrobe. While we are on the subject of girlie, the Georgi Bag has a very feminine design to it and I love it. I also love that I can flip it over and it's not a feminine design so my husband can carry it without having ovaries grow.
The pockets and internal compartments in this bag are unreal. I mean really, there is a place for everything! Let's see what the Baby Cargo site has to say about the Georgi Bag:
"Live differently.
With your ingenious Georgi bag on hand(le), your bottles are stowed, your
hands are free, and your “put together” style quotient just went up. Brass
details like grommets that slide smartly over your umbrella stroller handles and
stylishly zippered seams lend heft and style, at once. But what transforms
Georgi from fashion item to stroller bag “must” is versatility: beautiful
lightweight fabric, a sturdy shoulder strap that snaps to your full-service
stroller bar, and a wealth of pockets mean everything stays neatly in place.
- Beautiful lightweight fabric, brass details & stylishly zippered seams
- Universal Handle Hooks
- Brass grommet rings for umbrella strollers
- Attachment snaps for strollers with one handle
- Detachable/adjustable shoulder strap
- 2-side bottle pockets
- 7 interior pockets (1 lipstick, 1 wallet, 1 phone, 1 sunglass, 2 diaper pockets and 1 changing pad pocket)
- 5 exterior pockets (2 side bottle pockets, 1 zippered center front pocket, 2 front pockets)
- Zip closure to secure items"
I really can't express how much I adore this Stroller and Bag combination. Each one in itself is a wonderful addition to any mama or dad's baby collection, but together they make the perfect pair. You no longer have to take your big heavy stroller that takes 2 hands (which leaves no hand for the baby) to the mall for shopping. I would always take it to mainly hold my diaper bag and other shopping bags in the bottom basket. Now I can take my Baby Cargo 200 Series Stroller and Georgi Bag and not have to worry about throwing my back out when I'm getting the stroller in and out of the van.
I recommend both the Baby Cargo 200 Series Stroller and the Georgi Bag for all mamas and dads everywhere! You can purchase the Baby Cargo 200 Series Stroller at Target.com for $149.99nd the Georgi Bag at Amazon.com for $59.99

You are so right about umbrella strollers. Even at 5'4 I have to bend over to push it.
Folds with one hand, has rain guard, reasonably priced.. I want one!
Thanks for the review!!!
I'm really excited to see this review because our Jeep has a popped back wheel that we can't seem to fix & I don't want to get another large jogging stroller. My son in 3 1/2, but is really tall for his age and also weighs 43lbs! Most of the umbrella strollers have a weight limit of 34ish lbs & are waaaaay too short for myself to push because I am also 6' tall! This seems like a reasonable price for all of the bells & whistles. I love that it has a black aluminum frame instead of a silver one too :) Thanks! Great review!
This seems to be a great find. I like it that you are able to carry it on one hand while you baby on the other hand. How I wish it is available here in the Philippines.
nice , great find, love the hightness and the streanght it has, thanks for sharing ; )
It's nice to find a simple baby stroller

Thanks for the great review on the Baby Cargo Stroller. It sure has lots of good things most other strollers dont. I especially like the rain guard and that it has sides which will help protection the little one from the wind or sun. The weight restriction on this is good to because my grandson doesnt fit well in the umbrella stroller anymore. I like to take a stroller along when we walk in case he gets tired or sleepy and this one would be great - folds easy too
Where was this review two years ago when i was looking for strollers lol. We have a Graco, but it is so big and bulky. It takes up sooo much space in the trunk and its a pain when its just me trying to get it out. I wish I would have had one of these!
I do have to admit this is the one of the best stroller combinations I have seen. They are getting competitive like cars! Thanks for the detailed review and great pictures which sure helps. I was looking for a stroller for my dogs and grandson. I will keep this model in mind. Rita Spratlen rjspratlen@gmail.com
this looks perfect for my sister who just had her baby
Having a baby is not an easy task. So buying the right equipment is necessary to do it right. Thanks for the great review!
Seems like getting the right stroller is not an easy decision. Lots of great features to this one, thanks for the review.
I like the adjustable back and foot rest, that would be nice for when they fall asleep in the stroller. Looks like a great product.
it has lot of options and lot of features, also available in a lot of different price tags.it is durable and good for baby.for more cheap jogging stroller
I have been looking for another stroller to use in place of the big one we have now that is so hard to lug around. I don't want one of those cheap umbrella ones. So thanks so much for the review. I have a new stroller to add to my list. You listed so many things that make it sound great!
This looks like a great stroller. This one is not real big but just big enough for the comfort of your child. Thanks for the review.
WOW! I've used so many little umbrella strollers and they are not easy to push around as short as they are, this is great!
I would like to thank you for the efforts you have made in writing this stroller reviews. I am hoping for the same quality of work from you in the future as well.
