Moby® Wrap Review and Giveaway

Moby® Wrap was so awesome to send me the Cincinnati Reds wrap to review.  I can't tell you how much I love this wrap.  It takes a little time getting used to wrapping it around your body but once you get it down it takes no time at all to do it.  I can't tell you how much this wrap helps me out.  I've tried other carriers and slings and they just don't work for my unique (short and post baby) body shape and FB's roundness.  The Moby® Wrap  is a very long piece of fabric, with just enough stretch, that you wrap around your body just so and you place your infant in to be safe and secure against you. 

I LOVE this wrap!  Other carriers that I've tried have little straps that dig in to my shoulders or back and they just aren't comfortable.  I've also tried the slings that are out there and going by my size they don't hold FB.  I honestly think that she was too round to fit into those. 

I put the Moby on and had no problem going about my daily tasks.  I did have a bit of a problem getting FB in by myself.  As a matter of fact, I had to have my husband place her in the wrap.  She is 10 months old now though and weighs 25 lbs.  I can understand how that would be a 2 "man" job. 

I did not have a baby in a bar, nor do I endorse drinking while baby wearing.

I have recently visited the Cincinnati Zoo and "wore" FB around the zoo all day.  Towards the end of the day my back started to feel as though I was pregnant again, but she does weigh 25 lbs.  Other than the dull ache in my back after hours of wearing her, I had no issues.  I walked up and down hills and at times even lifted Diva up to see and exhibit or 2.  While we were at the zoo the temperature started to dive and we didn't expect it.  I could zip my fleece over FB in the Moby. 

I love Moby's website (an instructional book).  They offer tips for breastfeeding and exercising while baby wearing!  There are lots of different ways to wear your baby, from newborn up to 35 lbs.  Yes, I wrote that correctly...up to 35 lbs.  My 4 year old is just over the weight limit for this wrap. 

I went to Moby's website to find out a little more about the company.  I found out that the Moby Wrap was created by parents looking for the perfect baby carrier.  The Moby Wrap was invented in 2003 and the name comes from combining the words MOther and baBY. 

I recommend the Moby Wrap to all caregivers of infant children to toddlers!  Not just mamas and dads, but for grandparents and nannies as well.  If you have it to go on an outing or just to get daily chores done.  Some of us just don't want to put those sweet babies down.  It's a little selfish on our part but they are only little for a short time.
