The game tri-FACTa™ Addition and Subtraction is for ages 6+ and grades 1+. Diva is 4 and in Preschool and Drama is 6 in Kindergarten. I selected this game only because they are a little advanced for their ages and grades.
The girls had a blast playing but it is math and we had to tweak the rules in order to get the game going a bit. We only used the numbers 0 - 10. The numbers go up to 20 so if you have a math whiz and they can add double digits go for it. The game was just too long and hard for them when we used the numbers higher than 10.
Visit www.learningresources.com and this is the description you'll get:
"Build math-fact fluency like never before! Familiar triangle format provides a visual cue, while game play makes addition and subtraction fun! Pass out the numbered playing cards then take turns filling in the missing spots to complete fact families. Be the first player to play all your cards, and call out "tri-FACTa"!
- Includes triangle game board, 100 cards (facts up to 20) and 4 trays
- For 2-4 players
- Game board measures 10”
- Grades 1+"
If you are trying to focus on math or just want to find a fun way to introduce adding and subtracting to your child I highly recommend this game! The girls love to play this game and ask for it first thing in the morning. It's a game that the whole family can play, except FB who is still working on the talking thing.
You can purchase tri-FACTa™ Addition and Subtraction Game at www.learningresources.com for $19.99 or you can win it by entering the RC form below.

I really like the Mental Blox Game. I can see that it would be a game the child could grow with.
