Bread With Vitamin D

Founded over 100 years ago, Klosterman Baking Company has grown to be one of the largest family-owned bakeries in the Midwest. Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, Klosterman Baking Company provides fresh hearth breads, rolls and a variety of other bakery items to more than 4,000 restaurants, grocery stores, hospitals and schools in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Klosterman distributes quality frozen products throughout the United States and maintains strong partnerships with several food service distributors to ensure that Klosterman products are available to any customer nationwide.
Klosterman may not be a well known brand for you but growing up in the Cincinnati area it is very well known to me.  I've grown up with this brand have have always been a fan.  The loaves are soft and full of flavor.  Recently Klosterman asked me to try out their Vitamin D Enriched Bread.  I was happy to do that since it's a local and family owned business.

Klosterman Enriched Vitamin D Bread was developed from an innovative active bakers’ yeast with high levels of vitamin D. The unique yeast, called Eagle VitaD™ causes bread to rise just as a typical bakers’ yeast, but also achieves maximum vitamin D levels without the high cost and additional handling constraints of using a vitamin D supplement. Klosterman states the revolutionary yeast creates bread with anywhere from 10 to 100% of the recommended daily intake per 50 gram serving.
Klosterman wants families to merge great taste and excellent nutrition.  Klosterman thinks that this is the least they could do to ensure they bring good nutrition to their young and old customers.  Klosterman Baking Company reformulated its bread to address the growing health problem of Calcium and Vitamin D deficiency in children and other persons at risk for bone density deficiency.  This is why I love family owned businesses.  My family and I liked the bread and will continue to use it.  I like the fact that my girls will be getting extra Vitamin D that they may not otherwise get in their picky diets.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
