Luckily, I have found Penny Wise, who is helping me send my girls to school with some pretty awesome supplies. Pay attention because one lucky winner will get a prize pack similar to this one! The first thing we must be sure to provide to our children is protection. I love the Purell Pal, it's a cute little stand for Purell's Advanced Instant Hand Sanitizer. We have to protect them from germs! UGH, I'm sure you know if you have multiple children in your home that it's easier to prevent illnesses in your home than to get rid of them. Once they reach the Messy House it just goes around in a vicious cycle over and over again as we pass it back and forth.
Diva enjoyed taking her Fiskars blunt-tip Scissors to school in her pencil box. These were the scissors listed on her school supply list and they come in different colors. I received two Focus Notes Composition notebooks by TOPS. My girls are just a little young for these for school but I have a few nieces in high school and I know they need composition notebooks. TOPS has really toned down the usual look of a composition notebook. I like this tame look much better.
Don't forget about Sharpie and their fine Neon markers! These are going to be fun for my girls if my niece doesn't run off with them to add fun decorations to her folders and binders (or shoes!). They are super fun and I might try to take them to the office before anyone else can take off with them. I also received the Zebra Zazzle Tank Highlighters in Chisel Tip and believe it or not this was on my First Grader's supply list this year. I like the ridged grip on these highlighters.
Most of us are familiar with Bic but did you know that they have the smoothest pen in the universe? I love the Velocity Bold Ball Pen and Mr. Messy is going to run away with these before I can get the chance to. He is a pen snob. Are any of you that way too?
I received a Mead College Ruled Advance Notebook and boy have school supplies come a long way since I was in school. This folder has 3 pockets to hold your work, spine guarded to prevent snag and has a corner tab divider for easy to find and flip. It is pretty snazzy and will be the perfect accessory for any student who wants to stay organized. If you want to stay organized you also need the 8-Pocket Poly Portfolio by C-Line products, Inc. This is a one place to keep all your work, which makes things a little simpler. I like simple and organized, even though you wouldn't know it if you came to my house or looked in my purse.
The Pendaflex Desk Free Hanging Organizer might help me to get a little more control at my house. I have papers thrown all of my house (mainly on my counter in the corner of my kitchen). I believe I will be hanging this on the inside of our coat closet. This way I can save a little time when I need a specific paper from school I can look in the school tab. This is exciting stuff! The Pendaflex Vertical Wallets will help me to keep other important papers organized also. I will probably use this for the more important papers.
With having two elementary students in the house we go through a lot of pencils. Thanks to Penny Wise for sending the Westcott iPoint evolution Axis Electric Pencil Sharpener. It's quiet technology is perfect for my very loud house. I love the large shavings reservoir, I was getting a little sick of emptying the reservoir after two pencils.
