Therafit Sandal Review

Therafit Shoes were invented by Dr. Lisa Masterson, you may know her as Dr. Lisa from the show "The Doctors".  She refers to it as "the 12 hour shoe for the 12 hour day."  She wanted to create a shoe for women and that would stand up to all the work we put ourselves through.

When I received the Therafit Tiffany Sandal in Silver I didn't know exactly how awesome they were.  I just thought they were a comfort shoe.  I was excited to have a sandal that was not only stylish but comfortable too.  So I tore into the adorable wrapping as soon as I received the shoes.  I'm terribly sorry that I didn't take a picture, I was too excited about getting the shoes!  I put the gorgeous (the pictures don't do this sandal justice) sandals and thought "OUCH"!  Oh no, I had a horrible experience and would have to write a horrible review.  No No No!  I haven't had to do that yet and I am not looking forward to my first.  

WAIT A MINUTE!  What are these little things in the back of the shoes?  Oh, you customize the shoe to your comfort.  What a genius idea!  All Therafit Shoes come with three removable PCS adapters in the heel of the shoe for personalized adjustment.  So I removed one of the PCS adapters and tried the sandals again.  Nope, it wasn't comfortable still.  I took out another one and put the sandals back on and thought the sandals were perfect.

• Synthetic patent leather uppers with a cushioned lining for additional comfort
• 86 acupressure points on the foot bed for reflexology stimulation
• 3 removable PCS adapters in the heel of the shoe for personalized adjustment
• Shock absorbing midsoles featuring an arch support and deep heel-cups for stability and comfort
• Accredited by the National Posture Institute
• 1.5” heel height
• 7 oz. ounce weight
• Product measurements were taken using size 8 sample size. Please note that measurements may vary by size.
• Sandal runs large. Available in whole sizes only. For half size please order one size down.

Let me tell you about my personal experience with these sandals.  I have some very good walking shoes.  My family visited Disney World not so long ago and I walked around Magic Kingdom for an entire day with these walking shoes on.  I had my youngest in a baby carrier, FB is around 30 pounds at the moment.  I also at times had a backpack full of water bottles and other things my family needed during the day and it weighed roughly 10 - 15 pounds.  At the end of the day I could barely move.  I had taken some pain relievers and went to bed.  The next day I was still very sore but being on vacation and having plans I couldn't just lie around in bed all day.  

I took some more pain relievers in the morning and decided I wouldn't trust the walking shoes again.  I wore my Therafit Tiffany Sandals all day along with the 30 pound toddler, 10 - 15 pound backpack and walked around Magic Kingdom again all the live long day.  Only the difference this day was that when it was over I was not in any pain what-so-ever!  

I HIGHLY recommend these shoes for every woman!  If you are a young single woman who is active, or a mom of five kids that has to run from soccer to dance to tutoring, or perhaps you are a woman mature in years who finds even the simplest of tasks comes with aches and pains.  Your feet support your whole body and if you don't support them properly then you will suffer for it.
